BLUE skies, warm sunshine and no wind helped the Leigh Rotary Club in having a such a great day on Sunday 12th May for their Great Pier Walk. The event was advertised to start at 10am but by 9am people where already queuing up as they patiently waited for the Mayor and Mayoress to arrive.
The event saw nearly 600 people walk the pier and raise money for Southend Hospital For Wards appeal. As sponsors of the event we would like to say a huge thank you for all those who attended on the day in order to raise funds for the charity.
It was great to see you there showing your support for such a great cause.
